Corsair Carbide Series SPEC-OMEGA Case Review

Back in October of 2017 we looked at a budget-oriented case from Corsair, the SPEC-04. Jump forward a few months to CES 2018, and we were presented with a new case from Corsiar’s Carbide series, the SPEC-OMEGA. Packing a similar angular design as other recent SPEC cases, the SPEC-OMEGA is a mid-tower ATX case with bold looks. Add in support for plenty of cooling, as well as some integrated lighting and tempered glass side panel, and you have the makings of a pretty good case. Let’s see if the SPEC-OMEGA lives up to our exSPECtations.

Corsair unveiled their “Unplug and Play” initiative and new wireless products at CES earlier this year. While we had the chance to demo many of the products at CES, we now have them in the office to really test them out. The two products we are concentrating on today are the Dark Core RGB SE Wireless Gaming Mouse and MM1000 Mouse Pad. The Dark Core RGB SE is Corsair’s first wireless gaming mouse touting a ultra-fast 1ms 2.4GHz wireless connection, Qi wireless charging and a 16,000 DPI optical sensor. The MM1000 Mouse Pad combines the convenience of Qi wireless charging with a performance micro-textured mouse pad surface. Are these two products the perfect combination? Read on as we take a look!

Corsair Obsidian 1000D Leaked On Amazon

We have not seen a “big boy” case from Corsair since their Obsidian 900D was released back in 2013. While the 900D is still a great case it does seem a little bit dated as many new cases are offering RGB lighting, tempered glass panels, USB 3.0 connectors and more. Well it looks like we will see a new “big boy” case from Corsair very soon as the Obsidian 1000D (model: CC-9011115-WW) was leaked to Amazon over the weekend with a price tag of $500.
